Psoriatic arthritis is a seronegative spondyloarthritidis with a 5-20% prevalence among psoriatics. Spondyloarthritides are associated with increased cardiovascular risks, which can only partly be explained by traditional risk factors. Recent studies have highlighted that the chronic, systemic inflammatory condition of patients with spondyloarthritides may be involved in the development of cardiac and vascular pathologies. Early diagnosis of cardiovascular pathology can prevent complications and significantly improve the prognosis for these patients.
