Scienific works of the last decades related to the assessment of the morpho-functional hepatic changes in chronic hepatic diseas radically changed the concepts in quantification of the evolution of hepatic fibrosis after treatment. Thus, notifiying the results of these studies to the surgical community is a current issue of medical science and a desideration of the time.
