Abstract: Rheumatoid arthritis is a severe, chronic, infl ammatory disorder, that typically affect small joints, with subsequently loss of function of the affected joints and lead to disability.Rheumatoid arthritis has a possible systemic involvement, which leads to reduction of life-expectancy, which in some studies amounts 5-10 years. The key point of our study is that tocilizumab is an effective treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, the majority of patients treated with tocilizumab had an obvious improvement in remission criteria.
