Prognozarea consecinţelor infecţiei de tract urinar la copii cu uropatii malformative

Abstract

The National Scientific and Practical Center of Pediatric Surgery ’’Natalia Gherghiu” Pediatric Urology Department, Institute of Mother and Child PMSI during the years 2000- 2012 performed the treatment of 258 patients with urinary tract infection in malformative uropathies, aged 1 month to 18 years. Urinary tract infection in children is a common complication of congenital malformation. The clinical course is closely linked with acute systemic inflammatory syndrome due to activation cascade of inflammatory mediators and proteolytic enzymes. Early infectious complications constitute the major cause of increase of total number of relapses and chronic renal insufficiencies. The aim of this research study is to analyze retrospectively the evolution of renourinary congenital malformations treated conservatively and surgically from the first attempt.

În Centrul Naţional Ştiinţifico-Practic de Chirurgie Pediatrică „Natalia Gheorghiu”, Departamentul Urologie Pediatrică, IMSP Institutul Mamei şi Copilului pe parcursul anilor 2000-2012 au fost luaţi la tratament 258 pacienţi cu infecţie de tract urinar în uropatiile malformative, cu vârsta cuprinsă între 1 lună-18 ani. Infecţia de tract urinar la copii este o complicaţie frecventă a malformaţiilor congenitale renourinare. Evoluţia clinică este în strânsă legetură cu sindromul inflamator sistemic acut, datorat cascadei activării mediatorilor inflamaţiei şi enzimelor proteolitice. Complicaţiile infecţioase precoce reprezintă o cauză importantă a creșterii recidivelor și insuficienţei renale cronice. Acest studiu îşi propune să analizeze retrospectiv evoluţia pacienţilor diagnosticaţi cu infecţie renourinară în malformaţiile congenitale renourinare trataţi conservativ și chirurgical de prima intenţie.
