Abstract: This paper presents the results of radioactivity monitoring of radon during 2011 year in different types of the soil in the main regions of Republic of Moldova. It was shown that the radon concentrations variation is depending on the soil type. Thus, in the sandy soil the index was about 530 Bq/m3, in the clay soil – 332...438 Bq/m3, but in the calcareous soil the index was diminished and consisted of 1...122 Bq/m3. So, the results show that the higher values of the radon radioactivity are characteristic for the sandy soils. Also, here are presented the comparable results of radon concentrations in air, water, soil in different regions of Europe, including Romania, as well as major impact of abiotic factors on its concentration.
В данной статье представлены результаты мониторинга радиоактивного радона в течение 2011 года, в различных типах почв в основных регионах Республики Молдова. Продемонстрированы изменения концентрации радона в зависимости от типа почвы. Таким образом, в песчаной почве средняя концентрация радона составила около 530 Бк/м3, в глине – 332...438 Бк/м3, а индекс известковых почв уменьшился и составил 1...22 Бк/м3. Таким образом, более высокие значения радиоактивности радона характерны для песчаных почв. Также представлены сравнительные результаты концентрации радона воздуха, воды, почвы в различных регионах Европы, включая Румынию, а также основные абиотические факторы, влияющие на его концентрацию.
