Abstract: The diagnosis of cystic fibrosis should be considered in young infants with nutritional deficiencies associated with electrolyte balance disorders. Increased vigilance of physicians in recognizing uncommon signs of cystic fibrosis onset allowed an early diagnosis and correct treatment according to the needs of an ill child.
