Abstract: Due to their visibility, skin and venereal diseases have been exactly reproduced by a numerous famous painters and sculptors, as well as invoked/commented in various studies and books (historical documents, poetry, fiction etc.). Among the authors most worthy mentioning as references are: Ovid, Rubens, Moroni, Ghirlandaio, Leonardo da Vinci, Springer, Girolamo Fracastoro etc. In this context, the present paper aims to make a brief exposition of some literary and artistic investigations in dermatovenerology. Datorită vizibilităţii, bolile de piele şi venerice au fost reproduse cu exactitate de numeroşi pictori şi sculptori celebri, de asemenea, invocate/comentate în diverse studii sau cărţi (documente istorice, poezie, proză etc.). Printre autorii de referinţă, menţionez: Ovidiu, Rubens, Moroni, Ghirlandaio, Leonardo da Vinci, Springer, Girolamo Fracastoro etc. În context, prezenta lucrare constituie o expunere succintă a unor investigaţii literar-artistice în dermatovenerologie.
