Abstract: There was elaborated optimum isolation and extraction conditions of amitriptiline from biological fluids. We used physico – chemical methods to identify amitriptiline: chromatography on a thin layer by utilizing four systems of solvents, spectrophotometrical method in UV, HPLC.The methods processed by us for in biological tests “in vitro” are specific and reproductive, and they are recommended for the study of amitriptiline in biological fluids.
