Summary Periodontal lesions are frequently caused by the root canal microbiota, which radiographically and clinically present itself as lesions associated with the disease of the periodontium. As a treatment method of these situations, practitioners often imply the surgical method of treatment, a method which will most probably fail, if not done in correlation with the correct endodontic treatment.
