Ozonul şi utilizarea în stomatologie

Abstract

Rezumat. În diferite domenii medicale ozonoterapia se foloseşte de cîteva decenii. Dar în stomatologie ozonul este folosit la începutul anilor ‘90. În 1996 a fost propusă metoda de tratament a gingivitelor şi parodontitelor marginale generalizate cu utilizarea soluţiilor ozonate. Datorită caracteristicilor şi proprietăţilor sale pozitive ozonul este cu succes utilizat în tratamentul maladiilor reumatologice, cardiovasculare, metabolice inclusive şi stomatologice.

Summary. Ozonotherapy has been used in various medical fields for several decades. But ozone is being used in stomatology since the beginning of 90s. In 1996 a method of treatment of gingivites and generalized marginal parodontites was sugested by using of ozoned solutions. Due to its characteristics and its positive properties, ozone is successfully used in reumatological, cardiovascular and metabolic treatment of diseases including of stomatological ones.
