Abstract: Halitosis is dued to oral microbiological metabolism and is caused by protein degradation, especially of sulphur containing aminoacids that leads to the production of volatile sulphur compounds.Recent studies indicate many facts in etiology of halitosis: oral or non-oral, some physiological and other pathological.
