Abstract: The work represents a retrospective study of a group of 84 infants with bowel intu-sussception. The study includes the detailed analysis of the incidence, antecedences, clinical and evolutional peculiarities of the bowel intusussception in children; as well as the identification of the factors that could influence the errors in the diagnostic and treatment of the bowel intusussception in children. Lucrarea prezintă un studiu complex retrospectiv asupra unui lot de 84 sugari cu invagi-naţie intestinală. Studiul include o analiză detailată a incidenţei, antecedentelor, particulari-tăţilor clinico – evolutive ale invaginaţiei intestinale la copii; determinarea cauzelor, care ar influenţa erorile de diagnostic şi tratament în invaginaţia intestinală la copii.
