Abstract: Jaws periostitis is most common aggravation of odontogenic character. The aim of this work is examination of peculiarities of course and treatment of periostitis. It was defined more often appeared pathogenic microflora during jaws periostitis. It was defined - staphylococcus epidermidis – 38,5%, antibiogram results shows that more optimal antibiotic during the treatment jaws periostitis is – Lincomycin, Erythromycin, Gentamycin and Vancomycin. Abcesul subperiostal - este forma cea mai frecventă a supuraţiilor de cauză dentară. Scopul lucrării a fost studierea particularităţilor parcurgerii şi tratamentului abceselor subperiostale. S-a apreciat microflora cea mai frecvent implicată în producerea abceselor periostale ― s-a depistat staphylococcus epidermidis – 38,5%, antibioticele optimale în urma efectuării antibioticogramei sunt - Lincomicina, Eritromicina, Gentamicina, Vancomicina.
