Abstract: The aim of this study was to analyze the psychiatric disorders caused by HIV/AIDS. Psychiatric disorders among people with HIV have been identified in early stages as well as in late stages of the disease.The actuality of this study is the dinamics of the psichyatric disordes represented by : anxiety, affective disorders, cognitive disorders, adjustment disorders, acute psychotic, halucinations and caracterological disturbances, degradation, delirium, HIVassociated dementia. Scopul acestei lucrări a constat în analiza pacienţilor cu tulburări psihopatologice determinate de infecţia HIV/SIDA.Tulburările psihice la subiecţii HIV-pozitivi au fost identificate atât în stadiile precoce cît şi în cele tardive ale bolii. Elementul nou îl constituie dinamica dereglărilor psihice care sunt reprezentate de : tulburări anxioase, tulburări afective, dereglrări cognitive, tulburări de adaptare, tulburări psihotice acute, halucinaţii precum şi devieri caracterologice până la degradare, delirium, demenţă HIV asociată.
