Abstract: Lyme disease is an infectious disease, caused by Borrelia burgdoferi, transmitted to humans from Ixodes ticks. The study includes a group of 59 patients, admitted to Clinical Hospital of Infectious Diseases "Toma Ciorbă" in the period 2006-2011 with confirmed diagnosis of Lyme disease. The most characteristic clinical symptom was early migratory erythema, the most common location on the legs - 59.9%. Boala Lyme este o boală infecţioasă, determinată de Borrelia burgdoferi, transmisă la om de la căpuşele Ixodes. Studiul se referă la un lot de 59 bolnavi, internaţi în Spitalul Clinic de Boli Infecţioase „Toma Ciorbă” în perioada 2006-2011 cu diagnosticul confirmat de Boala Lyme. Cel mai caracteristic şi mai precoce simptom clinic a fost eritemul migrator, cu localizarea cea mai frecventă pe membrele inferioare – 59,9%.
