Stomatitele protetice

Abstract

Prosthetic stomatitis (PS) occurrs as a result of using mobile prosthesis and creates quite pronounced and prolonged suffering to their carriers. The occurrence of oral mucosal changes can serve as traumatic and toxic-allergic factors, but there are some natural phenomena aggravating their action. These are: the phenomenon of "thermostat" and the phenomenon of "medical suction cup". Early detection of causal factors determines the patient’s degree of suffering. Under our observation were 200 patients with various types of prosthetic stomatitis.

Stomatitele protetice (SP) apărute în rezultatul utilizării protezelor mobile crează suferinţe destul de pronunţate şi îndelungate la purtătorii lor. În apariţia modificărilor mucoasei orale pot servi factorii traumatici şi toxico-alergici, dar mai apar nişte fenomene fizice care agravează acţiunea factorilor numiţi. Acestea sunt: fenomenul de ”termostat” şi fenomenul ”ventuzei medicale”. Depistarea timpurie a factorilor cauzali determină gradul suferinţei pacienţilor. Sub observaţia noastră au fost 200 pacienţi cu diferite forme ale stomatitelor protetice.
