Abstract: The aim of the work was to compare the effectiveness of different methodological approaches of OME treatment. The most effective treatment modality by assessment of hearing dynamics, general health deterioration scores and quality of life deterioration scores was myringotomy with tympanostomy tube insertion in combination with adenoidectomy.
