Abstract: | Our study aims to assess the antibiotic susceptibility of microorganisms isolated from pathological biological substrates (discharge of postoperative
wounds) of the surgical patients and the microbiological monitoring of the resistance to antimicrobial preparations at the medical institutions level
(Republican Clinical Hospital). As a result of the comparative analysis of the data, a causative polymorphism characteristic of suppurative – septic
diseases has been revealed as well as resistant and multi-resistant strains to antimicrobial agents and the spectrum of sensitivity to antibiotics of isolated
gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. The total share of the identified strains resistant to antibiotics has constituted 48%. The analysis of
the data of quantitative estimation of the resistance prevalence and its temporary dynamics is aimed at promoting the rational use of antibiotics, control
of the occurrence and spread of microbial resistance at the local level, receiving information required for the development and implementation of more
effective approaches to the treatment of infections, the choice of adequate effective drugs. |
