Vigilenţa stomatologului în raport cu manifestările orale ale infecţiei HIV

Abstract

Major and sometimes common problems of the AIDS patients, especially the oral manifestations associated to this disease, must be recognized by the generalist doctor or dentist who must be trained in the detection of seropositive patients whether or not they have tested positive for the disease. It is very important that seropositive patients with specific oral phenomena obtain proper treatment as soon possible.

Автор статьи касается важной проблемы – ВИЧ-инфицированые пациенты и больные СПИД-ом с симптоматикой со стороны слизистой оболочки полости рта. Данный контингент больных обращается к врачам различного профиля, начиная с семейного врача. Следовательно, врач любой специальности должен быть заинтересован в ранней диагностике и лечении этой патологии. Одним больным следует назначить незамедлительно обследование на ВИЧ-инфекцию, для других нет такой необходимости.
