Abstract

This study elucidates the actual problems of the hepatoprotectors and their rational usage in terms of evidence-based medicine. The experimental model of liver injury demonstrated the prophylactic and therapeutic action, through the usage of physiological, biochemical, and morphological parameters that allow adequate hepatoprotective appreciation action of studied drugs. Clinical studies have demonstrated the efficacy and safety of hepatoprotectors in complex treatment of patients with chronic hepatitis of various etiologies. Treatment with hepatoprotectors contributed to rapid amelioration of the clinical symptoms, to the decreasing of the AlAT, AsAT, alkaline phosphates, gamma – glutamyltranspeptidase activity, of the level of bilirubin and thymol probe, to the correction of metabolic and immune deregulations, as well as to the recovery of the pro and anti-oxidant status equilibrium.

В работе освещены актуальные вопросы фармакологии гепатопротекторов и их рациональное применение на основе доказательной медицины. На экспериментальных моделях повреждения печени изучено профилактическое и лечебное действие гепатопротекторов с использованием физиологических, биохимических и морфологических параметров, позволяющих адекватно оценить гепатопротекторное действие изученных средств. Проведенные клинические исследования показали эффективность и безопасность гепатопротекторов в комплексном лечении больных с хроническими гепатитами различной этиологии. Лечение гепатопротекторами способствовало более быстрому стиханию клинических симптомов, уменьшению активности АсАТ, АлАТ, щелочной фосфатазы, гамама-глутамилтранспептидазы, уровню билирубина и тимоловой пробы, коррекции метаболических и иммунных нарушений, а также восстановлению равновесия про- и антиоксидантного статуса.
