Abstract: Summary. Renal function study as well as local haemodynamics evaluation showed that hyperuricemia does not solely affects the kidneys in gout. Quite the contrary, associated cardiovascular pathology, especially arterial hypertension and coronary heart disease as the reflection of general atherosclerotic process with renal arteries affection, associated kidney diseases independent from gout, general factors such as age and the gout anamnesis duration correlate positively with the nephropathy presence and kidney function reduction in patients with gout.
