S-a efectuat stentare ureterală selectivă post-ureteroscopie (46.5%).
Summary A retrospective analysis of 228 patients with ureteral stones, treated by ureteroscopy at the Department of Urology from the Institute of Emergency Medicine (2012 - 2015) is presented. Above 70 % of patients underwent semi - rigid ureteroscopy with intracorporeal ultrasonic contact lithotripsy under intravenous sedation. A 92.7 % stone - free rate was obtained. Ureteral stent insertion was performed on a selective basis (46.5%). In spite of the obvious advantages (high stone-free rate, short hospital stay, less invasive character in comparation to traditional surgical approach), ureteroscopy is not devoid of major complications. In the series studied there were 2 ureteral avulsions recorded. Thus, why scheduling ureteroscopie treatment for ureteral stones it is necessary to bear in mind both advantages and risks of ureteroscopy. This requires as well good equipment, technical skills and vigilance of the performing urologist.
