AbstractIntroduction. Cardiovascular events increase the mortality rate among women with autoimmune systemic diseases. Chronic inflammation is supposed to be responsible for the accelerated development of atherosclerosis. Endothelial dysfunction(ED) has a primordial role in the pathogenesis and clinical evolution of cardiovascular disease.
