| Abstract: | Introduction. Lately, abdominal surgery has seen a particular development in frequency and
magnitude of surgical interventions, followed by a major incidence of incisional hernias.
Rehabilitation surgery has progressed over time, and so did the abdominal wall reconstruction
techniques, along with the widespread use of synthetic allografts (polyamide, polypropylene,
polyester, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc.). |
