Abstract

The number of accidents is on the increase and presents a growing medical and social problem; the younger generations are the main victims, which is a special problem. Preventive measures are a primary task of society and public health aimed at reversing the continuously growing trend of accidents and victims. The outcome of the treatment of injuries and multiple injuries depends on the organization of the emergency medical service (ems), surgical anaesthetics and resuscitation departments in the country. The education of medical and other professions in the prevention and treatment of the injured in peace time, in catastrophes and in war is of a special importance.

Профилактические меры являются главной задачей общества и общественного здоровья, направленной на изменение тенденции непрерывного роста числа аварий и смертей. Результат лечения травм и множественных травм зависит от организации скорой медицинской помощи, анестезиологических, хирургических и реанимационных отделений в стране. Образование в медицинских профессиях и других профессиях в области предупреждения и лечения раненых в мирное время в катастрофах и в военное время имеет особое значение.
