Informatizarea bibliotecii Universităţii Pedagogice de Stat „Ion Creangă”: realizări şi perspective

Abstract

This article presents some of the achievements and prospects, the university library implemented in this area during 2001–2011 years. It is hard to imagine a noninformatization library in a modern society. The phenomenon of new information technologies influences us every day more and more. Library automatization, which implies uniting them into a single network, led to the fact, that traditional library is covered by digital library, and this coating contributes to the appearance of virtual libraries. This program of library automation and information processes is based on experiences in the library team up to present day, as is evident from the impressive capabilities of information technology, proposed in early 2000. Due to its information content, the library plays an important strategic role in the informative society. Scientific Library of the Kishinev State Pedagogical University „Ion Creanga” does not trailing in the process of informatization.
