Trotinetele electrice - vehicule implicate în accidentele rutiere

Abstract

Introducere. În ultimii ani, trotinetele electrice au devenit pe larg răspândite în multe ţări. În RM au fost recunoscute oficial ca vehicule în anul 2022, ce a condus la creşterea numărului accidentelor rutiere. Potrivit INSP, în anul 2024 au fost înregistrate 74 cazuri de accidente rutiere cu implicarea acestora. Scop şi obiective. Studierea diferitor surse de literatură ştiinţifică în care sunt reflectate date cu privire la implicarea trotinetelor electrice în accidente rutiere în diferite ţări. Material şi metode. Au fost analizate rezultatele studiilor internaţionale şi naţionale privind implicarea trotinetelor electrice în accidentele rutiere. S-au studiat incidenţa accidentelor rutiere cu implicarea trotinetelor electrice în dependenţă de vârsta victimelor, sex, sezonalitatea şi momentul zilei producerii accidentelor rutiere. Rezultate. Implicarea trotinetelor electrice în accidente rutiere a crescut considerabil în ultimii ani în multe ţări, datorită popularizării lor mai ales în localităţile urbane aglomerate. În funcţie de circumstanţe, incidentele sunt divizate în căderi de pe trotinetă, coliziuni ale trotinetelor cu pietonii şi cu un autovehicul. Vârsta victimelor era cuprinsă între 26-45 ani, majoritatea fiind bărbaţi. Incidenţa maximă a accidentelor a fost în lunile calde ale anului şi în timpul nopţilor de weekend. Cele mai „traumatizate” părţi au fost capul şi membrele. Fracturile la nivelul membrelor inferioare au prevalat asupra altor leziuni şi regiuni. Concluzii. Accidentele rutiere cu implicarea trotinetelor electrice se soldează adeseori cu leziuni grave, uneori cu deces. Mai des drept victime sunt bărbaţii. Cel mai frecvent tip de incident este căderea de pe trotinetele electrice, urmată de cauzarea diferitor leziuni de la cele superficiale la fracturi.

Introduction. In recent years, electric scooters have become widespread in many countries. In the RM, they were officially recognised as vehicles in 2022, which led to an increase in the number of road accidents. According to INSP, 74 cases of road accidents involving electric scooters were recorded in 2024. Objective. To study different sources of scientific literature which reflecting information and data on the involvement of electric scooters in traffic accidents in several countries. Material and methods. The results of various international and national scientific studies on the participation of electric scooters in traffic accidents were analysed and reviewed. The prevalence of road traffic incidents involving electric scooters was studied according to the victims' age, gender, seasonality and time of day of the crash occurrence. Results. The involvement of electric scooters in road accidents has increased considerably in many countries in recent years, due to their growing popularity, especially in crowded urban areas. Depending on the circumstances, incidents can be categorised as falls from scooters, collisions with pedestrians, or collisions with motor vehicles. The victims were mostly male and aged between 26 and 45. Accidents occurred mostly during the warmer months of the year (summer, early fall) and on weekend nights. The most “traumatized” areas were the head and limbs. Lower limb fractures were more common than other types of injuries. Conclusion. Road accidents involving electric scooters often results in serious injury sometimes even death. Men are more often the victims. The most common type of incident is falling off an electric scooter, followed by various injuries ranging from superficial injuries to fractures.
