Abstract

Children have a fundamental right to healthy and harmonious development, and national and international law recognises this essential right. The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child stipulates that every child should have access to adequate health services that support both physical growth and mental development. It is the responsibility of States to ensure an accessible and effective health system that meets the specific needs of children, including those with disabilities or disadvantaged backgrounds. Ensuring these fundamental rights contributes not only to the individual well-being of children, but also to the development of a healthy and equitable society

Copiii au dreptul fundamental la o dezvoltare sănătoasă și armonioasă, iar legislația națională și internațională recunoaște acest drept esențial. Prin Convenția ONU cu privire la drepturile copilului, se stipulează că fiecare copil trebuie să beneficieze de acces la servicii de sănătate adecvate, care să sprijine atât creșterea fizică, cât și dezvoltarea mentală. Este responsabilitatea statelor să asigure un sistem de sănătate accesibil și eficient, care să răspundă nevoilor specifice ale copiilor, inclusiv celor cu dizabilități sau din medii defavorizate.
