Colagenul: surse de obţinere și importanţa în aplicaţiile cosmetice

Abstract

Abstract. Collagen has attracted the attention of the cosmetic industry, due to its properties, being a natural humectant and moisturizer for the skin. It presents a structural protein that is found in animal organisms, where it provides fundamental structural support. Most commonly, collagen is extracted from the skin of mammals and fish. Thus, this study reflects an analysis that includes the biosynthesis of collagen, the sources of its production, the role of this protein in the cosmetic industry, as well as the development directions of different collagen-based materials used in cosmetology.

Rezumat. Colagenul atrage atenţia industriei cosmetice, datorită proprietăţilor sale, fiind un umectant și hidratant natural pentru piele. Acesta prezintă o proteină structurală care se găsește în organismele animale, unde asigură suportul fundamental și structural. Cel mai frecvent colagenul este extras din pielea mamiferelor și a peștilor. Astfel, acest studiu reflectă o analiză ce cuprinde biosinteza colagenului, sursele de obţinere, rolul acestei proteine în industria cosmetică, precum și direcţiile de dezvoltare a diferitor materiale pe bază de colagen utilizate în cosmetologie.
