Afectarea sistemului osteo-articular în diabetul zaharat tip 2

Abstract

Osteoarticular involvement in type 2 diabetes mellitus is one of the most challenging problems with a significant social and economic impact. Although numerous studies were performed in this field but the problem remains unresolved. The growing pandemic of type 2 diabetes mellitus in the world has a series of questions for researchers, particularly regarding the management of complications that develop very early. The study presents the results of a comprehensive assessment of 66 patients with second type diabetes mellitus. The study concluded that in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, the most frequently have osteoarticular involvements such as osteoporosis and osteoarthritis having a considerable impact on the quality of life of the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and affecting the motor function as well as the risk of comorbidities. Other osteoarticular involvements in these patients are Dupuytren’s contracture and carpal tunnel syndrome registered in a smaller proportion of patients.

Afectarea sistemului osteo-articular în diabetul zaharat tip 2 este una din cea mai actuală problemă cu un impact social şi economic semnificativ. Deşi au fost efectuate mai multe studii în această direcţie problema rămîne nerezolvată. Prezenţa pandemiei diabetului zaharat tip 2 în întreaga lume pune în faţa cercetătorilor o serie de întrebări care urmează să fie rezolvate cît mai curând îndeosebi în ceea ce priveşte tratamentul complicaţiilor care apar foarte precoce. În studiul dat am cercetat un lot de pacienţi cu diabet zaharat tip 2 pentru a elucida afecţiunile osteo-articulare cel mai frecvent apărute la ei.
