| Abstract: | The number of hepatic veins which enter Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) is extensively
variable, sometimes up to 25. Although, in most cases we have encountered 3 constant patterns
of veins: right, left and middle. In the following research, we study anatomical and surgical
features of hepatic veins, specifically their anatomy, anatomical variations and anastomoses with
portal veins system.
Numărul de vene hepatice ce se revarsă în vena cava inferioară este destul de variabil,
ajungând uneori la 25. Dar totuşi, în majoritatea cazurilor se întâlnesc trei vene hepatice
principale: dreaptă, stângă şi medie. În lucrarea dată noi vom studia caracteristicile anatomice şi

chirurgicale ale venelor hepatice, în special anatomia, variaţiile anatomice şi anastomozele cu
sistemul portal al ficatului. |
