Discromii dentare, metode de tratament

Abstract

The present work contains a study and a synthesis of bibliographic data, prospective statistics and clinical data upon the efficiency of the contemporary methods of dental whitening. The study was made on 30 patients with different types of dental discolorations, two of them were personally studied and treated. Besides this, a comparative analysis upon different methods of whitening was made, the final option being home-bleaching, by using individual dental trays and bleaching gels from “Ultradent” company (USA). In all of the cases, the result was positive (the best result being the result of the patient nr.2: from shade A3 to shade A1); transient dental hypersensitivity was more or less found in all the patients, but it has instantly retroceded in all of them. In conclusion, the efficiency of dental whitening methods was proved, their nowadays application being indispensable, considering the high frequency of dental discolorations, the environment polluted with colorants in which we live and the increase of aesthetic necessities among the population.

În lucrarea dată s-a efectuat un studiu şi o sinteză a datelor bibliografice, statisticii prospective şi, nu în ultimul rînd, a datelor clinice asupra eficacităţii tehnicilor de albire dentară contemporane. S-a studiat un lot de 30 pacienţi cu diverse discromii dentare, doi dintre care au fost studiaţi şi trataţi personal. Pe lîngă aceasta, s-a efectuat o analiză comparativă a diverselor metode de albire, clinic, însă, s-a optat pentru metoda de albire la domiciliu utilizînd capele dentare individuale şi gelurile de la compania ,,Ultradent” (SUA). În toate cazurile rezultatul a fost pozitiv (cel mai pronunţat rezultat s-a remarcat la pacientul Nr.2: de la nuanţa A3→A1); sensibilitatea tranzitorie a fost sesizată mai mult sau mai puţin la toţi pacienţii, însă aceasta în toate cazurile a retrocedat instantaneu.
