Metode moderne de diagnostic în degenerescenţa maculară legată de vîrstă

Abstract

The treatment`s success in ophthalmology is determined by the progress of modern diagnosis. To examine the macular degeneration is necessary to use new methods such as computerized perimetry, Optical coherence tomography (OCT), Fluorescein angiography, fundus photography, electroretinographs (ERG). TCO application in macular degeneration has a very great importance aiming to determine the configuration of fovea, the location of into subretinal liquid, the estimation of EPR condition. Fluorescein angiography allows detection and differentiation of choroidal neovascular membranes presence. Computerized perimetry facilitates the detection of scotoma. These diagnostic methods allow us a detailed examination of morphofunctional condition of the retina.

Succesul tratamentului în oftalmologie este determinat de progresul tehnologiilor moderne de diagnostic. Pentru examinarea DMLV este necesar de utilizat metode noi, așa ca perimetria computerizată, tomografia în coerență optică (TCO), angiofluorografia, fotografia fundului de ochi, electroretinografia (ERG). Aplicarea TCO în DMLV are o importanță clinic deosebit de mare avînd ca scop determinarea configurației foveei, situarea lichidului intra – subretinal, aprecierea stării EPR. Angiofluorografia permite de a depista și diferenția prezența membranelor neovasculare coroidiene. Perimetria computerizată facilitează depistarea prezenței scotoamelor. Aceste metode de diagnostic ne permit examinarea detaliată a stării morfofuncționale a retinei.
