Particularităţi statistice şi curative ale glaucomului

Abstract

One of the basic problems of contemporary medicine in the diagnosis and treatment remains Glaucoma. Application of modern methods of treatment may slow the progression of pathology, and further research may find new modalities to stop and reverse the pathological process of glaucoma. The study was conducted based on the results of the examination of 515 patients with glaucoma, aged between 22 and 87 years who were admitted to the ophthalmology department of the Republican Clinical Hospital in 2009-2010. The elective treatment was surgery which was successful in 410 cases (89.91%).

Una din problemele de bază de diagnostic şi tratament în medicina contemporană este Glaucomul. Aplicarea metodelor moderne de tratament pot încetini progresul patologiei, iar cercetările continue pot descoperi noi modalităţi de stopare şi reversie a proceselor patologice a glaucomului. Studiul a fost efectuat în baza rezultatelor examinării a 515 de pacienţi cu glaucomul, cu vîrsta cuprinsă între 22 şi 87 de ani, care au fost internaţi în secţie de oftalmologie IMSP SCR în perioada anilor 2009-2010. Tratamentul de elecţie era chirurgical, care s-a soldat cu succes în 410 cazuri (89,91%).
