AbstractOvarian torsion (OT), being a medical emergency, requires being correctly treated in the early stages of the disease, because reperfusion (R) injury may worsen existing lesions, leading to ovarian loss. The purpose of our study was to investigate the advanced oxidation protein products (AOPP) changes in rats’ serum subjected to different OT/detorsion models.
