Abstract

Acute hepatic failure secondary to viral hepatitis and acute liver failure in pregnancy secondary to acute liver dystrophy are rare but share similarities in the clinical presentation. Unfortunately, the formulation of a differential diagnosis is problematic and tragically the diagnosis is often late, putting at risk both the mother and fetus.

Острая печеночная недостаточность при вирусных гепатитах и острая печеночная недостаточность, возникающая у беременных в результате развития острой жировой дистрофии печени, встречаются редко. Имеют сходные клинические симптомы. Дифференциальная диагностика их сложна и если своевременно не распознаются, то ошибки фатальны как для матери, так и для плода.
