dc.description.abstract The adrenal tumors represent 0, 6 % of all tumors [1,3]. The surgical approach depends on nature of them, and histological results, without miss the diagnostic criteria and pre- and postoperative treatment. The goal of the study was to propose a modern surgical treatment to the patients with adrenal tumors. The report is based on a study which included 21 patients treated in Clinic of Surgery 2 of State Medical University ”N. Testemitanu” during the period of 2009-2010 years, 7(33,33%) of them were with aldosteromas, 1(4,76%) with corticosteromas, 5(23,81%) pheochromocytomas and 8(38,1%) patients with non-active tumors. The sex ratio demonstrated female predomination versus male (19/2), the age 36, 7 ± 1, 3 years. All the patients were operated. 12 of them were treated laparoscopically, and 9-by open adrenalectomy. It was noticed, that in laparoscopic adrenalectomy there where less complications during and after surgery complications, than in open adrenalectomy and might by preferred method on removal of the adrenal gland.
