Abstract

Limiting cell adaptation capacities to restore their own energy and plastic resources reduces the ability of mildronate to manage metabolism in myocardial ischaemia in elderly patients. The mechanism of action of mildronate found in the experiment explains in many aspects the positive effects of this preparation that we obtained in the clinic.
