Hyperleptinemia and leptinoresistance to patients with arterial hypertension in relation with metabolic syndrome
There were evaluated 294 patients with arterial hypertension in relation with metabolic syndrome and the role of leptine in metabolic
changes to these patients. Hyperleptinemia was determined to 83.3% among patients with arterial hypertension and metabolic syndrome.
Hyperleptinemia increased in correlation with obesity degree. The relation between hyperleptinemia with body mass index and
hyperinsulinemia shows their key role in pathogenesis of the insulin resistance in metabolic syndrome.
