Screeningul tulburării de spectru autist în practica medicului de familie din Republica Moldova

Abstract

The article includes the research results that come to ensure the strengthening of ASD screening capabilities in family doctor practice at national level and indirectly to prevent delayed diagnosis and its negative impact on child development. At the same time, the parents` knowledge attitudes and practices of children with ASD were appreciated, finding that the information and guidance of parents to diagnosis and treatment resources are unsatisfactory, which leads to delayed diagnosis of and treatment resources are unsatisfactory, which leads to delayed diagnosis of ASD and reduces the child`s chance (with ASD) for effective interventions. Emphasizing the impediments to screening in family doctor practice, dictates the need to develop a National Clinical Protocol for ASD conduct, implementation a mechanism of registration and reporting cases, wider disclosure of society of the existence of the problem and the possibilities of a diagnosis and treatment.
