Abstract:
Nowadays, arterial hypertension (AH) remains an important
socio-medical problem despite multiple scientifical studies
regarding the etiology, pathophysiology, diagnostic and
treatment of the disorder. Till now, AH is the main cause
of cerebral vascular stroke, which represents a real health
problem by its lifelong cognitive and motor dysfunction in
patients.
This study involved research of 30 medical histories of
patients with AH, who previously supported an cerebral
vascular attack and were admitted in the Therapy Department of “Sf. Arh. Mihail” during years 2013-1016.
The study proved that in patients with AH and a previous
cerebralvascular accident the prognosis is unfavorable by
association to the previous risk factors (as hypercholesterolemia, high level of triglyceride in the blood, stress,
smoke and alcohol) of other additional risk factors as
hypodynamic life style, cognitive-depressive syndrome,
episodes of hypostatic hypotension which can aggravate
the evolution of AH such increasing the risk for repeated
cerebral vascular attack.
