Abstract:
Background. Drug-drug or drug-food interactions may result in synergistic, antagonistic and / or
additive effects, with an increase / decrease and / or reversal of therapeutic effects, correction and / or
occurrence of adverse reactions. Drug interactions have become a serious problem in groups of children,
due to the vulnerability of the biological and psychological status of children. Objective of the study.
The purpose of the study was to study and evaluate the role of the pharmacist in the management of
drug interactions in children in the community pharmacy. Material and Methods. A selective crosssectional
research was conducted, the sociological survey using the semi-structured questionnaire, with
a sample volume of 100 participants. The selection of static units was made among pharmacists from
community pharmacies in the Republic of Moldova. Results. The role of the pharmacist in the
management of drug interactions in children encountered in community pharmacies was identified by
assessing the response to questions on the level of information on general notions of drug interactions,
on reporting adverse reactions due to the combination of several drugs in children, and the actions that
pharmacists take in their practice when they encounter such interactions. Conclusion. As a result of the
study, a number of problems were identified regarding drug interactions in children, highlighting the
role of the pharmacist in their management.
Introducere. Interacțiunile dintre medicament-medicament sau medicament - aliment pot solda cu
efecte sinergice, antagoniste și/sau aditive, cu majorarea/diminuarea și/sau inversarea efectelor
terapeutice, corecția și/sau apariția reacțiilor adverse. Interacțiunile medicamentoase au devenit o
problemă gravă în grupurile de copii, datorită vulnerabilității statutului biologic și psihologic al copiilor.
Scopul lucrării. Studierea și evaluarea rolului farmacistului în managementul interacțiunilor
medicamentoase la copii în farmacia comunitară a fost scopul studiului. Material și Metode. A fost
realizată o cercetare selectivă de tip transversal, sondajul sociologic utilizând chestionarul
semistructurat, cu un volum al eșantionului de 100 participanți. Selecția unităților statice s-a efectuat în
rândul farmaciștilor din cadrul farmaciilor comunitare din Republica Moldova. Rezultate. S-a
identificat rolul farmacistului în managementul interacțiunilor medicamentoase la copii, întâlnite în
farmaciile comunitare prin evaluarea răspunsului la întrebări privind nivelul de informare referitor la
noțiunile generale despre interacțiuni medicamentoase, cu privire la raportarea apariției reacțiilor
adverse ca urmare a combinării mai multor medicamente la copii, precum și acțiunile pe care le
întreprind farmaciștii în practica lor de activitate când întâlnesc astfel de interacțiuni. Concluzii. În
rezultatul studiului, s-au evidențiat o serie de probleme cu privire la interacțiunile medicamentoase la
copii, evidențiindu-se rolul farmacistului în managementul acestora.
