Economic aspects in the activity of the University Pharmaceutical Center „Vasile Procopisin”

Abstract

Background. One of the main elements for supervising the activity and performance of the University Pharmaceutical Center (UPC) is related to financial analysis involving the interdependence between the preparation, circulation, distribution, provision of pharmaceutical services and consumption of drugs. Objective of the study. Systemic study of UPC dynamics through the analysis of economic activity. Material and Methods. Statistical reports processing according to various indicators using Excel. Results. Recent years, the economic activity of the university center has been affected by a number of changes, both legislative and economic. There is a negative dynamic in the economicfinancial activity conditioned by the irrational location of the community pharmacies in the vicinity of the UPC against to the legal provisions. Within the production section of the UPC, the volume of preparation of medicines according to individual prescriptions has increased significantly, but due to the low costs, there is no increase in economic indices. Conclusion. In order to improve the economic situation, sustainable development of the activity by increasing the incomes from achievements, avoiding unjustified expenses and optimizing them, introducing new pharmaceutical services, etc. will generate the increase and improvement of performance indicators.

Introducere. Una din pârghiile de supraveghere a activității și a performanțelor Centrului Farmaceutic Universitar (CFU) ține de analiza economico-financiară, ce implică interdependența dintre preparare, circulație, repartiţie, prestarea serviciilor farmaceutice şi consumul de medicamente. Scopul lucrării. Studierea sistemică a dinamicii CFU prin prisma analizei activității economice. Material și Metode. Rapoartele statistice, prelucrarea după diverși indicatori cu utilizarea programei Excel. Rezultate. Activitatea economică a centrului universitar pe parcursul ultimilor ani a fost afectată de o serie de modificări atât legislative, cât și economice. Se atestă o dinamică negativă în activitatea economico-financiară condiționată de amplasarea irațională a farmaciilor comunitare în imediată apropiere a CFU, contrar prevederilor legale. În cadrul secției de producere a CFU s-a majorat esențial volumul de preparare a medicamentelor conform prescripțiilor individuale, dar din cauza costurilor mici, nu se atestă o sporire a indicilor economici. Concluzii. Pentru îmbunătățirea situației economice, dezvoltarea durabilă a activității prin majorarea veniturilor din realizări, evitarea cheltuielilor nejustificative și optimizarea lor, introducerea noilor servicii farmaceutice etc. va genera creșterea și ameliorarea indicatorilor de performanță.
