Abstract:
The aim consisted of the description of a rare clinical case with mixed dyspnea and mediastinal tumor diagnosed in an adult male in the “Saint Trinity” the Municipal Clinical Hospital. Clinical, paraclinical, radiological, computer tomography results confirmed the diagnosis of teratoma cystic tumor of the right anterior middle-lower mediastinum, dimensions 15x14 cm, with infiltration of the lateral wall of the right atrium as associated with anemia. In this case, the patient refused surgery for tumor resection, although he developed atelectasis symptoms. In conclusion, mediastinal masses are rare causes of dyspnea, require a differential diagnosis with long-term clinical and radiological follow up.
