dc.description.abstract Background. Obstructive Hydrocephalus is a severe form of pathology, that is more common in children diagnosed with brain tumor. It is caused by the obstruction of cerebrospinal fluid from it’s formation until the subarachnoid space. Objective of the study. Study of surgical treatment applied to children with brain tumors associated with obstructive hydrocephalus by implementing and perfecting the surgical treatment. Material and Methods. We used data of 2013-2018 period, in the Children Clinical Hospitals of the Republic of Moldova, which shows the structure of morbidity through malign and benign tumours with associated hydrocephalus at prematures population. Results. Since 2013-2018 were diagnosed 116 children. The average age was: 18 children (15,5%) 0-1 years old, 32 children (27,5%) 1-5 years old, 26 children (22,4%) 6-10 years old and 40 children (34.45)11-17 years. From 116 children, 11children (9,4%) were inoperable. The incidence was 61 boys (52,58) and 55 girls (47,41%). There were complications: malign hipertermia, coma, anemia, cranial nerves damages (facial asymmetry, palpebral ptosis), hemiparesis, intraventricular bleeding, pleurisy. Conclusion. The morbidity was common in boys, average age was 2-5 and 11-17 years old. Chidrens were operated in two ways. There were complications since intraoperatory and postoperatory period. Introducere. Hidrocefalia este o formă severă de patologie, des întâlnită la copiii diagnosticați cu tumori intracerebrale. Este cauzată de obstrucția circulației lichidului spinal. Scopul lucrării. Studiul tratamentului chirurgical, aplicat copiilor cu tumori intracerebrale, asociate de hidrocefalie obstructivă. Material și Metode. S-au folosit datele din fișele medicale din instituțiile medicale de copii din Chișinău, din perioada 2013-2018, Rezultate. Au fost examinați 116 copii. Structura pe vârste: 18 copii (15,5%) de 0-1 an, 32 copii (27,5%) 2-5ani, 26 copii(22,4%) 6-10ani și 40 copii (34,45%) 11- 17ani. Dintre 116 copii, 11 (9,4%) au fost neoperați. Structura lor după gen: 61 băieți (52,58%) și 55 fete (47,41%). S-au înregistrat complicații ca: hipertermie malignă, comă, afectarea nervilor cranieni, hemoragii intraventriculare, hemipareză, anemie, pleurezie. Concluzii. Morbiditatea a fost mai des întâlnită la băieții cu vârsta cuprinsă între 2-5 ani și 11-17 ani. Copiii au fost operați în două moduri. Sau înregistrat complicații intraoperatorii și postoperatorii. en_US
