Abstract:
Breast cancer is still increasing. Morbidity is also high due
to the late diagnostics and, respectively, the large number of
advanced cases. The role of mammography in early detection of breast cancer is crucial. Making screening programs,
allows to reduce mortality by 35%. Target screening (50-
69 years) of 6675 women data is presented. Accumulated
experience demonstrates that the effi cacy requires the
following conditions: digital mammography, specialists in
imagistics, mammalogists, close collaboration with general
practitioners, informed population, unique analysis of the
obtained results.
