Summary:

In the transition period the Moldavian economic market system and the Public Health system, which is going towards a mixed system – based on obligatory and voluntary principles of medical insurance, combined with free forms of payment for medical services. We consider Public Health as a useful and actual science. The definition of Public Health economics as a science may be explained not only from the considerations of possibilities of changes în the Medical System but also it is a necessary instrument of sanitary management, especially în the evaluation of resource allocation în the organization. The comprehension and using of economic knowledge în medicine – it is not only the competitive advantage for a manager but also is a condition of his success.

В условиях перехода экономической системы Молдовы к рыночной экономике и системы здравоохранения к смешанной системе – системе обязательного и добровольного медицинского страхования в сочетании со свободной формой оплаты за медицинские услуги, экономика здравоохранения выделяется как полезная и актуальная наука. Изучение экономики здравоохранения как науки аргументирует не только потребности и возможности изменения в системе здравоохранения, но станет и необходимым инструментом менеджмента здравоохранения, особенно в распределении ресурсов в рамках медицинской организации. Понимание и использованиe экономических знаний в медицине не являются для менеджера только конкурентным преимуществом, но и одним из условий его успеха.
