elderly population. At this age, the
medical and social consequences of
aging are most prominent, including:
morbidity and health condition,
rate of specific morbidity, causes and
trends of this phenomenon, access to
health services.

В статье описываются социальные, медицинские и экономические
факторы, влияющие на здоровье
возрастного населения. В работе
изложены последствия демографических аспектов, медицинских
и социальных затрат государства
в связи со старением населения.
В этом возрасте на первый план
выходят социально-медицинские
последствия старения: заболеваемость и состояние здоровья,
уровень специфической заболеваемости, причины смерти и тенденции этого феномена, доступность
медицинских услуг.
