Abstract

Summary. In this article is presented the history of development of occupational hygiene troughout centuries, starting with the period before our era. It reflects the contribution of different socio – economic formations at different stages and especially the role of scientists from many countries, including those from Russia, Romania, and Republic of Moldova. There are illustrated evolution peculiarities of scientific – practical activities with the purpose of investigating and ensuring the state of health of employees dependant on occupational factors, elaboration and application of preventive measures at the work place. There are mentioned not only the medicine’s aspirations to diagnose and treat different diseases, but also its prophylactic orientation thanks to occupational hygiene that supervises health state and work conditions of employees in all branches of national economy

Резюме. Представлена история развития гигиены труда на протяжении веков, начиная с периода до нашей эры. Описывается вклад различных социально-экономических формаций на различных этапах, в особенности ученых многих стран, включительно из России, Румынии и Республики Молдова. Отражены эволюционные особенности научно-практической деятельности в целях исследований и обеспечения благоприятного состояния здоровья рабочих связанного с условиями труда, разработки и внедрения профилактических мер на рабочих местах. Отмечается не только стремление медицины к диагностике и лечению заболеваний, но в особенности ее профилактическая ориентация благодаря гигиене труда которая ведет надзор за состоянием здоровья и условиями труда работников всех отраслей народного хозяйства.
