dc.description.abstract The study highlights some medico-social aspects of organization, supervision and monitoring of the health status of children from Chisinau on primary health care level. The opinion of doctors and parents regarding some aspects of organization, supervision and monitoring of the health of children was evaluated. The results confirmed the hypothesis that primary health care service is and will remain fundamental link in promoting children’s health. Epidemiological aspects shows that the morbidity of children (0-17 years) in urban areas is dominated by diseases of the respiratory system, nervous system, infectious and parasitic diseases. Parents entrust children’s health until the age of 5 pediatrician, bypassing the physician and do administer treatment without medical consultation. en_US
